In the heart of downtown Boston bordering City Hall Plaza on the site of Benjamin Franklin’s print shop stands the New England Shelter for Homeless Veteran’s. The building is 135,000 square feet and is ten stories in height. PGA was responsible for the design of phased rehabilitation of the facility. The building houses a men’s and a women’s shelter, 59 single room occupancy permanent housing units are located within. The design include entire new infrastructure, asbestos abatement, food service kitchen and dining facilities.
