Carl E. Peterson,
III, AIA
Mr. Peterson, a co-founder of the firm Peterson/Griffin
Architects, Ltd., currently serves in the capacity of Consulting Principal
to the firm.
Prior to his position of President of PGA, Mr. Peterson
was named Senior Associate at Sasaki Associates, Inc. and was employed as
Director of Construction & Development for The Nelson Companies. He
also served as Architectural Engineer at Pierce/Pierce & Kramer and
for the Malcom Perine Engineers.
Professionally, Mr. Peterson is responsible for design
concepts and programming in office buildings, hotels, housing, public facilities,
industrial site planning and master planning. Additionally, he provides
expertise in building design, cost estimating and contract documents.
Mr. Peterson graduated from the University of Connecticut
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and the Boston Architectural
Center with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture. He is a member of
the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, serves
as a Design Critic for the Boston Architectural Center and is Steward for
the Lexington Conservation Commission.
Mr. Peterson is licensed to practice Architecture in
the Commonwealths of Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and the states of Connecticut,
New Jersey and New Hampshire.
