Gevel Marrero
Mr. Marrero is a senior draftsperson for Scott/Griffin Architects, Ltd. Professionally, Mr. Marrero has experience in the areas of design development, schematic design, construction documents and project management. With over 7 years of experience in construction and design areas, he has a well-rounded knowledge of commercial and residential projects.
In 1997, Mr. Marrero graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in architecture. Soon after, he enrolled at Pratt Institute in pursuit of a masters degree in fine arts in the field of computer graphics and animation. He currently has an NCARB Internship Development Record and is working towards licensing. Mr. Marrero is a Licensed Construction Supervisor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has also contributed to SIGGRAPH 1998 and 1999 in a 3D Computer Animation Workshop and was a participant at SIGGRAPH 2000 sigKIDS with and RVV (remote visual vehicle).
Mr. Marrero has served his community for more than 17 years, first as a youth leader for his church, then as an associate pastor and pastor. Currently he is the church administrator at Defenders of the Christian Faith Church, Inc. and the president of My Fathers House Church, Inc. His wife Marian and their two children, Milady and Miguel, currently live in Quincy, MA.
